Well, it still fits on a tabletop! Note the only overlap from last year is the Jamieson's DK - and I only recently got the rest of the order, so I have an excuse.

I have yarn for:
4 garments or shawls (likely two of each)
4 pair socks
2 felted bags
1 pair felted clogs
5 smaller projects

Breakdown on skein content:
24 wool
15 wool or mohair / silk blends
7 silk (more, if you consider the cone)
5 alpaca
3 petroyarns
2 bamboo

This is after about nine months of knitting. Notice that I had to photograph my WIPs and finished projects (scarves and kittybeds) along with partial skeins to have anything to photograph! Everything has been knitted except the Jamieson DK (recently got the rest of the yarn order). Click through to see annotated photograph.

Roscalie Vest front

to steal a line from The Princess Bride. A lot of sickness all around, unfortunately, so blogging fell by the wayside. A little bit of knitting got done, mostly the Roscalie Vest from Alice Starmore's In the Hebrides. Click through for yarn and needle info. It is still unblocked, so be kind! I took three weeks to knit the fair isle, and closer to three months to do the finishing.

I did finish my sister's shadow shawl before Christmas, along with another brioche scarf for my mom's sister. I nearly finished my shadow shawl, but ran out of Anne - so I need to rip back and re-set the centerpoint. I've also learned to knit socks, 2 pair worth. I didn't do the Knitting Olympics, since I had just knit my first vest and first socks, so I had just learned a bunch already. I did knit a pair of socks and a self-designed something for my SP.
